Potting, Propagating & Mounting Workshop - Saturday 21st March 2026

This is a new whole day workshop.

You will learn all about how the orchids grow from tiny seeds and how to easily propagate the plants yourself by dividing. Hands-on re-potting of orchids as well as mounting orchids onto cork bark.

We will also cover different orchid composts, the additives that are available and why you might use them, plus the variety of pots and containers.

You will also have the chance to bring any orchids you have that need re-potting for free advice.

If possible please bring with you a pair of secateurs.

We recommend arriving at 10am on the day of the workshop for a complimentary tea/coffee and then the workshop will officially start at 10:30am. There will be a lunch break around 12noon and you will get a 10% off voucher for our café for the day in case you would like to have lunch in our wonderful Cafe Vanilla!

The workshop time will finish around 2.30pm to allow time for browsing and buying!
