We have some brown Orchid Paradise tourist signs on the A382
but things are slightly different due to a road closure on A382 starting
25th September 2025, near Newton Abbot until Autumn 2026.

From Plymouth or Exeter on the A38, you will not be affected
by the road closure. Turn off at the Drumbridges junction onto the A382 towards
Newton Abbot. Go past the Stover Country Park on your left and the golf course
on your right. Just past Stover School take the next right at the bottom of the
hill. This is the new junction. Then take the next left turning straight
towards the nursery's car park on the right.
From Newton Abbot, you will be affected by the road closure,
please follow the diversion signs to reach us.

Road Changes to Burnham Nurseries
On Monday 10th August 2026 the road to Newton Abbot will reopen. On the same day the road between Forches Cross and Stover School will then be closed for a further 11-12 months for phase 2 of the A382 roadworks. You will then be able to get to us from Newton Abbot direction along the A382 as before and the use the turning at Forches Cross left into the old lane that will be reopened for the duration of these works.
There will be yellow diversion signs around the Newton Abbot area which will actually have "Orchid Paradise" on them to help you get to us.
Approaching from Torbay/Teignmouth/Newton Abbot follow diversion signs through Newton Abbot to the A382.
Approaching from Plymouth exit the A38 at the A383 Newton Abbot turn off and follow this road into Newton Abbot then follow the diversion signs to the A382.
Approaching from Exeter. Where the road splits to Torquay/Plymouth, after Kenn, take the left fork onto the A380 (Torquay) and then follow signs for the A382 and diversion signs.
Approaching from Bovey Tracey. Head out to Kingsteignton on Clay Pits Way and then out to the A382 as before the closure. Or head to Liverton and follow the lanes to us. Locals may know this way, not recommended if you don't know the roads.
