Maxillaria sophronitis

This attractive species is low growing and has a creeping habit with small but very bright red flowers close to the plant.

These plants have lots of new growths, so are bushier plants.

Cool-Intermediate growing needing a minimum of 10-12°C.

Origin - Venezuela.

Flowering season - variable

Winter rest

Average pot size - 12cm

Average height - 25cm

They are potted in medium bark.
