This is one of the most showy and beautiful cattleya species (formerly Laelia) with large white fragrant flowers with a deep purple throat. These are young plants so need a few years to grow before they'll be flowering size.  These types prefer to kept on the drier side with a rest from watering in the winter. The thicker leaves mean they can take a bit more light as well. These orchids are potted in fine grade bark.
