As the name suggests, the large olive green and brown flowers have an almost hooded appearance with the dorsal sepal coming over the top of the tiny petals and lip. It is an amazing flower to add to any collection. These types prefer to kept on the drier side with a rest from watering in the winter. The thicker leaves mean they can take a bit more light as well.

It is a warm growing orchid needing a minimum of 15°C.

Origin - South-East Asia

Winter rest.
