We are pleased to announce that we will be re-opening the Orchid Paradise display house after its winter closure on 1st April 2020.

*** Please note this is still planned as it's business as usual for the time being unless coronavirus concerns prevent us from opening.***

This additional greenhouse will have displays of many different orchids from all around the world. These plants form the nursery's collection of Mother Plants, grown for exhibition and propagation. These plants are not for sale, but as they become able to be propagated, either by division or from seed, then we will have plants to buy. It is therefore always worth asking for stock if you see a particular plant you like as you never know! There may be waiting lists for some plants.

The plants on display will be mostly species from around the world, plus a few special hybrids, showing off the real diversity of the orchid family. From the big and blousey down to tiny minatures and everything inbetween!

More commonly seen hybrids and species for sale can be seen flowering in our shop after you have wandered around Orchid Paradise.

General admission to Orchid Paradise is £3 per person. Group Visits and Guided Tour Packages are also available.

Please use Orchid Paradise entrance off the car park to start your visit.
