CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW 2001
Staging the Chelsea Exhibit
The empty stand, ready to be filled, an L-shape corner
site, situated on the south side of the East Marquee.

Unloading the van, later in the evening to avoid the crowds.

Ready to start work early the next morning.

The background orchids are the large standard cymbidiums
and these give the display an excellent base from which
to grow.

The spaces are gradually filled in with tall, showy odontoglossums
and oncidiums with the brightly coloured phalaenopsis and
phragmipediums too.

The level gradually slopes down to the lower varieties
of miniature phalaenopsis, miltoniopsis, brassias and coelogynes.
Many of these are sweetly fragrant which really sets the
flowers off.

Finishing touches are done, including bark avenues, moss
to disguise pots and name cards on the plants for identification.

The final medal-winning display, we hope that all the visitors
enjoy the show.
We are very pleased to announce that we gained a Gold Medal
at the 2001 Chelsea Flower Show. Thank you to all the visitors
who came to see our orchids at this year's world famous
premier gardening event
