Orchid Masterclass Information

BURNHAM ORCHID MASTERCLASSES 2013

For many years running we have held very successful full-day Orchid Masterclasses in conjunction with the

Royal Horticultural Society.

It is an ideal way for any beginner or enthusiastic novice to learn more about these fascinating plants and

how to grow them.

We keep to small groups to make sure everyone gets a chance to ask questions and get the most out of the day.

In 2013 we will be holding the following Masterclasses:

Orchid Masterclass No.1 - ideal class for beginners
'Welcome to the World Of Orchids'

Sun 24TH FEBRUARY or Sun 1ST SEPTEMBER
Includes – basic watering, re-potting, re-flowering, solving problems and growing orchids in the home. Plus a nursery tour.

Orchid Masterclass No.2 - a good follow-on class for any novice
'Improve Your Orchid Collection'

Sat 16TH MARCH or Sun 6TH OCTOBER
Learn about different orchids to expand your collection. Includes feeding, resting, propagating, growing on bark and settting

up a greenhouse for orchids.

Each Masterclass runs from 10.30am-3pm and includes a tasty lunch

RHS and Orchid Society Members receive a discount on ticket prices = 1 TICKET £49, 2 TICKETS £85

A Masterclass ticket would also make a great gift for any orchid lover!

If you are part of an organisation such a botanical garden, zoo or garden centre and would like to have a separate Masterclass just for a group of your staff then we can organise that for you!

We can tailor the day to your exact needs for your own orchid collection, helping you to grow your orchids better for display or enabling you to advise your customers with the correct information.

We are also willing to run one-on-one sessions for individuals or even consultancy visits to you.
